Established in 2023, Proton Electro Cables Ltd. Located in Lusaka, Zambia is a part of Southern Africa Ferro Alloys Limited (SAFAL). It was the first Manganese Processing Unit in Zambia. The company has proven its mettle in this sector since its establishment in the year 2011 with a growing presence all over the world.

We executed their 300 MT COPPER ROD PRODUCTION UNIT along with WIRE & CABLE PROJECT with state-of-art-plant & machinery including laboratory setting up a medium sized cable plant with a capacity to process 3600 Tons of Copper per annum to produce Single Core House Wiring Cables, Multi Core Flat Cables + ECC & Multi Core LV Mains Armoured Cables

We were proud to be associated with Zobis Cables Nigeria Limited as a trusted partner in delivering comprehensive turnkey solutions for their expansion project due to bitter experience with Chinese machinery. So, leveraging our expertise in project consultancy and execution, we played a key role in supporting Zobis Cables in scaling their operations to a 1,450 metric tons capacity per annum.

From designing the facility layout to integrating state-of-the-art machinery and ensuring compliance with Nigerian Industry Standards (NIS), we successfully delivered end-to-end solutions that enhanced operational excellence and contributed to Zobis Cables' continued success in the Wire & Cable Industry.

Zigma Global Environ Solutions, a leader in biomining, has been utilizing Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) by supplying it to cement and power plants. While other companies have melted mixed plastic waste (MPW) to produce materials for road laying, bricks, pavement blocks and similar applications. No one had previously converted this waste into granules or pellets that could serve as raw materials for various products.

We pioneered this process for the first time in India. Our innovation lies in the indigenous process we developed specifically for recycling unsorted mixed plastic waste derived from RDF, setting a new benchmark in sustainable waste management.

SGR ENGINEERS & CONSULTANTS were engaged by leading Electrical Contractor Mr.U.M.Pandian, Proprietor of M/s. Pandian Agencies, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu into setting up a small scale house wiring unit with a capacity to produce 1500 Coils/day of Single Core House Wiring Cables & 500 Coils/day of Multi-Core Flat Cables at Aorakkulam, Palladam Taluk, Tirupur Dist., TN.

“KOMBU” is the brand name of his cable product which happens to be the name of their family deity. A small plant was set up with Buncher, Extrusion Line, Coiler & Lab. Equipment in 2021 and the cables were successfully certified by BIS.

Established in 2001, Seven Hills Impex Ltd. is Uganda’s leading power solutions provider with a growing presence all over the country. A truly quality and customer-satisfaction driven company, Seven Hills offers a comprehensive range of products and services in electrical, power back-up, power protection and solar power.

We were appointed as their “Consultant” for their wire & cable project. Successfully executed the project with the state-of-art-plant with machinery & laboratory setting up a medium sized cable plant with a capacity to process 2400 Tons of Copper per annum to produce Single Core House Wiring Cables, 2C/3C Flat Cables + ECC & Multi Core LV Mains Cables. This project was executed between 2019-2022 (delay due to COVID pandemic).

True Power Ltd., is a 2008 established ISO certified electrical manufacturer and comprehensive solution provider, with 3 manufacturing units, 8 product verticals, 10000+ distributors, 25 service centers, 500 on-roll employees and 300 contractual staff having an international presence in Africa, Nepal and Bangladesh and has a wide presence across PAN India.

As part of their diversification plan, we were appointed as Project Consultant in setting up Wire & Cable plant at Barabanki, Lucknow, UP which caters to requirements across PAN India manufacturing Aluminium LT Cables, AB Cables & Conductors along with House Wiring Cables. The Plant was set up with state-of-art machineries and Lab as per BIS standards during the period 2018 -19.

Hemkala Wire Works is a subsidiary of M/s. Umiya Jari, Surat, a leading gold & silver jari manufacturer in India. As part of their diversification plan, we were roped in for setting up a House Wiring & Aluminium Service Cable plant at Kim, Dist. Surat, Gujarat State.

The plant was set up with both Indian & Imported machinery to process Copper & Aluminium Rods used in the production of Building Wires, Submersible Cables, LT Multi Core Unarmoured Cables, AAC, ACSR & Service Cables.

The plant was set up between 2017-2018 with fully equipped Plant & Machinery, Lab & Testing Instruments from Raw Materials to Finished products as per BIS standards and accredited with ISI mark.

Polytech was the brain child of Mr.Sunil Modi, Proprietor of M/s.Asha Sales Corporation - leading distributor of major electrical cables & conductors in Rourkela and Mr.Uttam Sharma, an Industrialist by profession. We were engaged as their Consultant to set up a Aluminium Conductor & AB Cable plant at Lathikata, Dist.Sundargarh, Orissa State.

The plant was set up with state-of-art machinery to process Aluminium & Aluminium Alloy Conductors used in the production of AAAC, AAC, ACSR and along with high quality extrusion lines to produce Aerial Bunched Cables. Plant was set up in 2016-2017 with a processing capacity of 1800 Tons of Al & Al Alloy. Fully equipped Laboratory was also set up as per BIS Standards for testing from Raw Materials to Finished Products.

We successfully completed a project for Mitsubishi Motors at the Hindustan Motors plant in Chennai installing PSW Guns - CR45 for the Mitsubishi Lancer Model in the existing production line. The scope included unloading and unpacking weld jigs, fixtures and gauges from containers using a 5-ton forklift and a 14-ton crane and shifting them to their designated locations.

We positioned the main and underbody assemblies, track systems and scissor lifters into a 330mm deep pit, adhering to the HML layout. Additionally, 22 jigs and fixtures were leveled and 60 clamping brackets were welded to the base frame with foundation holes drilled and grouting bolts fixed.

The project culminated in the successful erection & commissioning of the weld jigs with utilities connected and thorough trials conducted to ensure flawless functionality meeting Mitsubishi Motors' standards.

PML is a key player in the renowned Enpee Group, a US$ 500 Million Transnational Conglomerate which has been involved in trading essential products & commodities in Nigeria since 1961. We were entrusted as the “Consultant” for their cable project, covering both copper & aluminum cables and managed the entire process from concept to commissioning.

Our team successfully delivered the project within the set timeline by implementing state-of-the-art machinery, advanced plant infrastructure and high-quality laboratory equipment with an estimated value of US$ 5.0 million in Phase-1 (2010-11) & for a budget of US$ 8.5 million in Phase-2 (2012-13). This achievement highlights our capability to execute complex projects efficiently and on time.

PML were very much satisfied with our quality of service and retained us as their Technical Advisor for the next 5 years (2013-2017).

Engr.Hassan Kuliya Umar, Chairman & CEO of Klysat International Ltd., Kaduna, Nigeria dreamt of establishing a “Cable Manufacturing Plant” in his native state Kano, Nigeria.

We fulfilled his decade old dream into reality by setting up a medium sized cable plant with an annual capacity to process 1200 Tons of Copper & 1200 Tons of Aluminium to produce Single Core House Wiring Cables, Multi-Core Flat Cables, Single Core / Multi Core Copper LV Power Cables, Over Head Conductors such as AAC, AAAC & ACSR. This project was executed between 2006 – 2008.

Coleman was initially into trading and distribution of cables & wires produced by Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc., Later Coleman started their own production in 1998 in a very small set up with only an extrusion line & manual coiler. Drawn annealed copper wires to sizes were imported & insulated in the factory initially.

The same was revived under the Chairmanship of Asiwaju S.K.Onafowokan in 2000 & proposed by us to bring cable machines from India. It was accepted readily & gradual expansion (backward integration) took place for a period of 6 years from 2000 - 2006. The company started growing from a 40 million Naira debt to a profit making center producing wires & cables of various sizes to a tune of 800 million naira in 2006.

Currently, Coleman Wires & Cables is the largest manufacturer of cables in the West Africa Sub Saharan region.
